About the DDE Venture Builder Incubator 

The Venture Builder Incubator provides post-graduate researchers (e.g. PhDs and PostDocs) the entrepreneurial skills and opportunities necessary to explore and validate the commercial potential of their ideas. Part of the Bayes Centre DDE Innovation, the online programme includes: 

  • £2000 grant 
  • A curated set of interactive workshops and networking events built around your academic commitments 
  • 1-2-1 support 
  • Links to investors and mentors 
  • Links to the Bayes Centre and University of Edinburgh’s wider entrepreneurial ecosystems. Be at the heart of a vibrant community! 
  • Opportunities to win cash prizes on Demo Day, which marks the end of the programme.
