These sessions are designed to help non-technical founders develop their tech business ideas and move forward with their startups.

Richard Palmer joined the Edinburgh Innovations Student Enterprise team in 2023. While completing his part-time master’s in AI, he worked as a Data Modeller at Zevero, an early-stage ClimateTech startup in London helping companies reduce greenhouse gas emissions. His master’s research focused on Responsible AI, where he designed a prototype on Figma to support AI governance. He also has experience as a Business Analyst at Canada’s largest loyalty marketing company, LoyaltyOne.

Richard can provide advice on:

  • Getting started with product development
  • UI/UX and design best practices
  • AI system design
  • Digital prototyping with Figma
  • Identifying the required technical skills when hiring or collaborating

Please note that this service does not include support for specific coding challenges.

Session details:

  • Appointments last up to 30 minutes
  • Available online or in person
